"When the mind's eye rests on objects illuminated by truth and reality, it understands and comprehends them, and functions intelligently; but when it turns to the twilight world of change and decay, it can only form opinions, its vision is confused and its beliefs shifting, and it seems to lack intelligence." (Plato)

I am beginning to believe that though the human race advances in technology, intelligence is stagnant. By this I mean that we do not learn from our mistakes, and we do not get "smarter" about life. Maybe we peaked with the Greeks.
In knowing and partnering with Spirit, the ego self becomes subservient to the higher Self or Soul which imparts Wisdom to the 'knower'.
The Dualist that knows not Spirit, can only guess at truth. He then may call such that, or his 'facts', but chances are that he will be in ignorance rather than knowledge.

Perfection seen as Universal Truth, is the overall Balance of polarities as seen from a Central position of Neutrality known as the Spiritual position of UNconditional Loving Acceptance.
