Out of the blue, the enemy strikes, with no regard for human life.
What could they be thinking of? Certainly not peace, only strife.
Into our memories, forevermore, the scene will be emblazed.
We'll n'er forget this horrible deed, from those who must be crazed.
For much too long we've sat at home complacent in our thought.
Not thinking this could happen here, and thusly we were caught.
We always thought that wars were fought on some far distant shore.
But now we know we're vunerable and can be hit at our core.
We must rise up and fight this thing and make them know we're strong.
We'll follow in God's footsteps and show them they are wrong.
