How can I tell you the change that I feel?
A lot has to do with just growing up, I guess.
Perhaps, I finally reached the age of maturity.
Possibly, you have changed too.

Actually, I think it goes deeper than either of us.
Nothing happens without God's knowing it.
Neither of us had been very close to the Lord
In many years.
Very often when we stray from God,
We each stray from one another.
Routines are sometimes hollow, but
Still, the weekly trek to church has had
An effect on me. It's brought
Religion back into our lives and my love for
You to the surface once again.
Deep within me, I feel an inner calm
Each time I sit in church.
Ask me what has brought about this change in me,
Right away I'll have to say it is the work of God.
