Space
That which touches all but doesn't care
Supports us all but has no air
No eye to see
No hands to feel
No need to eat
But is so real
It holds the planets
Spins the stars
Gives us glimpses oh, so far
Of more and more and more
We'll travel through it all that way
Someday, to wherever we want
On ships without sail
On waves of sinuous nothing
Supporting our journey
On ether that's everywhere . . .
Oh that glorious void
That substance of nothing
That's really something!
