In the glow of the campfire God was there,
As we each lit a candle and said a prayer.
Reflecting on life in the still night air,
We all came together for which to share.
We told of our problems, laid our life bare.
What we had in common was knowing God's care.
To some it would seem that life is not fair,
But to those who knew Jesus it's only a dare.
Partnered with Him we make quite a pair.
His love joins us all in fellowship rare.
