I've found a great little tool on the web that helps me find places in relation to T stops. It's someone's hack of a Google map that shows all of the T lines and their stops. Type in the address of where you want to go and click "Search." A new map will come up (it may take a little time, but it's worth the wait) showing your location. If there are any T-stops nearby, you will see them. You just click on the white dot closest to your destination and it will tell you the name of the stop.
If you don't know how the different T lines connect, you may want to have the map zoom out so that you can see how to transfer from one line to another.
Have fun! And let me know if you find any cool places!
