Will, you got me thinking... which is a rare occurance for me... Ponder the thought that there is a way to live a) being lonely - which most of us all are b) being lonely and desperate - which we are when we don't feel secure with ourselves and our environment and c) being lonely and dangerous - in which we put ourselves in situations thinking that the loneliness will go away, but the situation only makes us feel worse. I'll take a) and sometimes b), but never c) even when impaired by mind altering substances. I don't know why I'm being philosophical, but I had to get that out of me...
Now, back to thongs.... Laurie, Jill and I are gonna plan a torturing Will night.. you in???
Tina didn't tell you how we are going to torture you. See, there's the torture like whips and chains torture, but then there's the "you can look but you can't touch" kind of torture.
Rule #1. Never be with someone just because you're lonely. You'll feel more alone than if you were by yourself.
And it keeps you safe... Imagine being in a room with three hot chics and you can't touch them... and they can only touch you with whispers, and fingertips.. You'd freaking explode.... Thats much better than c).. ;)
Will, too much coffee does that to you. For some reason, the tune, 'One more cup of coffee for the road' is in my mind. It must be time for another cup.
More like Jim's Big Ego's "Stress". I don't want to come off as flippant or a braggart, but I have never understood "lonely". An enigma to be sure since I can't be great company.
Lonely... like you feel terribly alone in the world, that no one understands you, there's no one that 'wants' to be with you, or you can't even stand yourself. Thats what I mean by lonely... scared is like the lonliness I describe...
How wonderful. a mental comingling of the nearly alive and the almost dead. Lonely is the hunter when on his own trail. the ego construct at heart knows of it's own falsehoods, and cannot tolerate being alone. Will will's will prevail?
I understand your predicament, Will. We all go through such moments of uncertainty. The best test to make sure whether you are alive or not is to pinch yourself. If you feel the pain, it is certain you are alive; otherwise it is possible you are a wandering spirit. But, if by mistake, you pinch the guy next to you, the results might be more confounding.
If Adam Crossland says NICE like that, you know you're either a premature Alzheimer's victim; or sleep deprivation has caught up with you; or you drank Chock Full of Nuts instead of your usual espresso blend; or you have swung to the opposite pendulum and gone from maximalist pre-Simulationist to minimalist post-Troglodyte.
