I'm here to report on those Half-Price Mexicans!
Laura already reviewed the Pour House and told us what wonderful food they have. I had to check it out for myself last night, especially since someone here posted that the Pour House had half-price Mexican food on Thursday nights.
My partner and I both enjoyed our half-price fare -- a burrito (stuffed to the gills) and a steak quesadilla. Yum! Both came with black beans and rice. We told them they could keep the rice if we could have more beans. The beans were a perfect addition to my quesadilla along with a topping of salsa and sour cream.
Feeling the need for comfort food, we decided to splurge and split an order of their Mac and Cheese. Three words....
Oh!
My!
God!
I have never had better Mac and Cheese anywhere! I will warn you, it's a heart attack in a crock. But if you have a bundle of fat and cholesterol points to burn, this is the place to spend them!
When the bill came, I was happy to pay it. Where else can you get a burrito dinner, a quesadilla dinner, and an awesome order of Mac and Cheese for only $11?
In case you are interested, Wednesdays is half-price Chicken Sandwich night and Saturdays is half-price burger night.

By T, you can take the Green Line to the Hynes Convention Center Stop. Follow Mass Ave across the highway to Boylston, hang a left, and you'll be there in a couple of blocks.
