I love the french term for sleeping in.
"Faire la grasse matinee"
or in other words "do the fat morning"

When I was staying with a French family in Strausbourg, France, the wife insisted that I "fais la grasse matinee" every morning.

She worked at the EU as an administrative assistant. This was back in 1976, before the community really was developed.

Holly, I don't like hazelnut flavored things, but I like the nuts to eat. In French they are called Noisettes, and the word for nuts is Noix.

French often have chickory in their coffee. It makes it bitter if you ask me.

What is a riot is to watch French folks make instant coffee. They put about 1/4 of the cup or more full of instant coffee, and add a little water, and then keep beating it with the spoon until it is frothy. Then they add hot water, and milk if they desire.

At breakfast coffee and hot chocolate isn't drunk from cups, but from bowls.

Boy this brought back memories.

Your article was simply irresistable. I adore hazelnut coffee. And I love everything about your salad except the fat free blue cheese dressing. Add some real blue cheese dressing and top with additional blue cheese crumbles (I could eat real blue cheese dressing with a spoon).

Scott, yes the sheets are nice, but no match for the microsuede, cats or the whipped cream. A suggestion for inspiration: DON't THINK. Forget and it will come...Build it and it will come.

Simply irresistable.I wake up,have my hazelnut coffee,with my breakfast,take a warm bubble bath,get dressed,then go to work,when I get home,I go to nap on my duvet bedspread,with my feathered down pillow,and dream sweet memories,I loved it!Simply Irresistable!

Faye L, "Cafe Francais" from International Coffees is delice, too! Had it many a time ! I like whipped cream in my coffee sometimes so I won't splurge on Starbucks ! I like STRONG coffee...

Ed, I'm very touchy-feely, I think people are, generally....As well as taste and olfactory oriented...It was all I could think of, looking at my bed, my whpped cream and by lovely towels.

This was SO fantastic!!! Now I want some coffee, but I better not, its 9 at night.

Heidi, you can always have decaf with whipped cream...or just straight into a bubble bath, great towels then a down comforter, great pillows...
