Marketplace: Health care gap extends to middle class

Already it's a serious situation and if my DH had ignored my requests when we were young and not started the IRA we have nor insure his pension combined with the amount of SS he gets since retiring, I would just have to walk out in traffic and hope a driver of an 18-wheeler wasn't paying close attention. But, still, in five more years, I will be at the mercy of Medicare. We use about a third of his pension now for my medical needs, maybe even closer to half. What happens in 5 years. All I can hope for is the lottery or that my meager stocks do a "Yahoo" of the late 90's. I could get so lucky. I've been searching for medigap insurance since first one disease then the next has attacked this body. I've had a good life but I kind of wish it was the first of the last century when the average lifespan was 47 years. I guess we will continue to hope, to pray, and to do rain dances in the back yard. What else is there? Really, let me know.
