Need Code for JOIN button

I have read over the course of the past few days a few articles for groups announcing their groups to the gather community. These have a nice sized orange JOIN button that non members of the group can click on to join said group.

I am interested in knowing the code for that button so I can add that to my groups. Can this be shared and posted in the comment section for others, or point us in the direction where this is already posted?

Bonnie, you need to go to the edit icon listed with each group name of your Groups page. You can change the setting so there is a join button...pretty sure! If not then youneed to contact someone at gather as it would be a programming glitch! HTH

There are many articles within the Gather Group Management 101 group which provide very helpful information for group owners. For example, this article explains some techniques for promoting your Gather Group, including how to add the orange 'Join Now' button to articles. I would urge all Gather Group owners to spend some time perusing the great information in this group.

Because many articles get cross-posted to many groups on the Gather site, this is a way to let people who have found your article in someone elses group, know that you also have a group that they may be interested in joining.

Bonnie- we are working on providing links like the one you suggest, but also links for use outside Gather as well. Sending links to your friends and to others in offline groups that you know is a great way to grow your Gather group. Stay tuned!
