flies home

Beaver comes up for air

Fireflies flicker in time to
peepers and crickets

You lay me down
by the river
on the soft clover grass

Summer's scent in you hair as you
Kiss my neck and
Nibble my ear

Dragonflies give way to
bats which
flit above
devouring mosquitoes

You undo my buttons
our chests pressed together
I feel your heartbeat
or
is that mine?

Water rushes
tongues dance
our bodies entwine

Your hands and lips are
everywhere
stealing my breath

Senses overwhelm as you
taste me
Mind reeling
