I think I've written a bit about this e-zine before--http://www.thetowndrunk.org is currently open for submissions! They are looking for short, speculative stories. From the guidelines:
Â
The Town Drunk publishes lighthearted and humorous short stories that contain an element of science fiction, fantasy, or the supernatural. Horror tropes are welcome, but they must receive a lighthearted treatment. Cross-genre work is also welcome. Most importantly, we seek to offer stories that are fun to read, leaving our readers smiling and eager to share what they've read.
Here is a link to the full guidelines: http://www.thetowndrunk.org/guidelines.aspx  Follow them closely!
The editor is especially looking for a "Christmas / Yule feature this period" and I happen to know she has not filled that need just yet!!!! So if you have a holiday, fun, speculative story (or can finish one before Sept 15) send it along!!!
For those of you that write and read YA--If you notice their current, published material, it always carries a "rating" to make it easier to tell if it is appropriate for younger readers.

Good Luck!
