How easy it is to be kind...
To think before you speak; to not hurt or break or crush someones heart. It doesn't take much to make someone feel special; a word, a look, a kindness they don't expect. To live with pain and misery everyday of ones life kills something inside. Hearing anger and having love taken for granted destroys the soul.
People can't go on not being loved or not being told they are special to someone...always... not just when it is easy.
A person becomes transparent after a time. Years become a canvas that you can read and show to the world. Anger and hate and selfishness become ingrained into the painting, molded into the shape of things that can never be taken back.
How easy it is to be kind...

I like that.
There can't be too many reminders of this essential fact.
Thank you.
Pam, girls night would be so awesome!!
now we need to win the lotto to make it happen!
What happens when a peson doesn't get enough of it? Look in the prisons and psychiatric hospitals, in doctors' offices, on roadways or in offices (rage), in homes.
It's so easy, but we need to tkae the time to do it for others instead of thinking about whether others do it for us.
Let's do something beautiful..show a little kindness. Even when we disagree with people, even when we are angry, we can do something beautiful, because we can choose to be kind.
Thanks Mandi for reminding us of that!
I am way past counting to 10 ;-)
nancy and Candida, thanks for reading and commenting ;-)
Love Momy
love you too ma
We may never know the impact or significance of saying a kind word to another or realize how much it may be needed by the recipient. Likewise, the impact of an unkind act or passed opportunity to do something kind could be significantly negative.
I'm not sure how, but you managed to avoid sentimentality in that little post. It was the stronger for it. Nicely done.
Serina extra points for you!! you called me sergeant major!!
I'll still be myself with Juliet Capulet's icon.
big salute to you soldier!
I am glad I could make a small difference in your days ;-)
