Compensation: $1345 (makes me almost want to start to get the money)

A McLean Hospital Research Group is looking for men and women to participate in an 8-week study evaluating the effect of an investigational medication on marijuana use. If you qualify, you carn earn up to $1,345 in checks and vouchers.

You may qualify if you:
• Are 21 – 40 years old
• Use marijuana frequently
• Are willing to give blood and urine samples
• Can come to the laboratory 2 times per week (transportation by taxi provided)

Well, I'm over the age limit the're interested in so I guess I have to pass. LOL That and the fact that I have asthma. Hmm...think they'd people put in brownies instead? ;-)

sounds neat but.I would hate to have to be tested every few weeks.But it's free so if I lived closer I would do it.

I LIVE in this town ! McLean is FAMOUS for a number of things, such as the institution where the author of Girl, Interrupted stayed, the institution where James Taylor stayed and so on and on...I'm over 40 and haven't smoked this stuff since 1988 and then, only occasionally. If I know anyone who might qualify, I will pass it on...

I had no idea about the history! Thanks Kathryn... I loved that movie, and it's really cool to know!

It's funny... I run across these all the time... I've even seen some for heroin users, etc. I would love to know what kind of tests they are doing... I would assume to try to figure out if there is some part of the brain they think "triggers" these addictions...

I imagine LOTS of people who would be thrilled to hear this...I think if it were legal, LOTS of people would be surprised by who would emerge from the cloud of smoke rollin' out of THAT closet. The numbers are WAY higher than anyone would ever imagine!
