All of it was gone.
But I hate to go there and come back with a pocket empty of bugs, so I had to have more tenacity and patience; but the results were satisfying and I came back with a whopping crop of over 500frames of bugs so I was up until the wee hours of the morning dutifully listing and zapping all those that belonged in the trash. Even so I came away with a nice pocket of bugs.
So some are here and some I will load later because I know that Gather software isn't reliable and I have no longer the patience and tenacity to endure it. If it don't function, then I aint gonna use it, because I can go elsewhere-- or so I was reminded on a trip from Srbsko to Tetin.

From Srbsko to Tetin
And the message definitely wasn't missed.
I've too many pending projects on the net to kill myself here.
There were a few psycho bugs about so I tried to get them at different angles. The result of which I found myself kneeling in thistles and landing in a patch of --
yup-- you guessed--
buried doggie-doo--
Fortunately it had rained for the last three days so I could fairly easily rinse off the knee with wet leaves. But still it was better the trousers than my knee.
One other pointer, is that I am a traditional wearer of skirts. Skirts are definitely an advantage over trousers when off on a long hike in the woods, because you can just hitch up and squat. The best demo of this technique is found in the Award-Winning Aussie film, The Piano. I think it took an Award for: Most Memorable Scene.
Trousers are a matter of strategic plotting but frequently end with pyrrhic victory.
So it was that kind of day of rolling about in the nettle patch, miring in doggie-doo and struggling with clothes advantageously designed for men. And then having a thunderstorm threatening me out in the boondocks seven kilometers from the train. However, the goal was achieved of bringing back a nice pocketful of bugs.

Psycho Bug from the bottom

another view from below--differnt bug, field and thistle about 6ft tall
this thistle was so tall that I couldn't reach up to it, so close to 7ft or more

Pscho Bug poses for me

Pyscho Bug and friend--well, maybe. Psycho didn't like the bee intruding on his personal space and chased the bee off by flipping his wings.

A white

Small Tortoiseshell-very dodgy fellow

Silver- Washed Fritillary which is also called the Queen of Spain

Striped Bug

White on Scabious

Ichneumann Fly--look closely to find him

making eye contact with a fritillary

the same fritillary, but earlier frame-- I had to cral about cautiously on my knees to get the other shot in the eyes
this is very up close and personl shooting guys--like 1-4cm away from de bugs

Ringlet--but not sure which

for convenience Yellow Ringlet-- I think they really have eyes in those dots because they scamper off very quickly whenever I turn their way.
so end of first half because I can't deal with Gather downgrades and the flash ads are lethal.
as well as all the Gather Inc Server time-outs--
so must skedaddle
The Srbsko Bug Collection is here

somehow Google beats gather hands down on software...

Magical images, Mary.
gotta get out of here because I've just wasted anothr 3.5hours trying to load the second half of the bugs. this is eral state of teh crapart software. man I loaded the first 4-5 images 5x, just to watch the Amazon Shorts banner knock them out every three minutes or so-- and then I got to 8 twice and 10 twice-- and that was with "sving" the bloody article every two images
and they still get totalled each tie round. Who can work with this garbage? you really havee to be crazy to want to load anything in this site 'cause it really is a pain to wrok with. I get so anixous that I break my nails... and have to run off to the john to pee.
real pain.
