I have seen this site posted before, by friends on freebie boards, etc., and have always heard wonderful things about them. It is especially for those who do not have prescription coverage, and cannot afford all of the costly medications they are taking.
Basically, all of the larger pharmaceutical companies offer programs, to provide their medication free of charge to those who cannot afford them. This site brings all of those companies together, so you don't have to apply for each company individually.
There is a five dollar charge, per prescription, but as we all know, that is much more affordable than paying full price for any one medication.
I would definitely recommend giving them a try!
Sorry all, forgot to add the link... it's http://www.freemedicinefoundation.com/

Paul, here in Oklahoma, we're limited to 5 scripts per month. Unfortunately, many people who are disabled have a lot more than that, so that's where these programs can help. I was hit by an unexpected illness, that caused lots of ongoing problems, so I have to take all kinds of medications, and our Medicaid just doesn't cover it. Of course, I am one of the lucky ones, to even have Medicaid...
