It's Scrimmage Time!

I recently took a job in Boston....despite the cries from my bank account. Since mid-May, I've been living in temporary housing -- a nice condo in Cambridge with wonderful skyline views of Boston. I have never thought of urban living as something I would enjoy, until now. The only negative is the inability to let the dogs out the back door. I have benefitted from being forced to take them on walks a few times a day, and I hope to keep up that habit in my new home. When I'm dog tired and just can face a walk around the block is when I really miss suburban living.

It won't be long before I have that opportunity again. I'll be closing on a house on September 8th, if all goes well. My temporary housing is available until September 18th, so I'll probably use the time to do some painting and planning moving what I've already collected since May.

Between now and the date of my move, I'll have to scramble to get things done.

I need to explore homeowner's and car insurance in Massachusetts.
I have to schedule the move.
I have to try and remember all the furniture and stuff I packed up 3 months ago and figure out where I want the movers to put these things in my new digs...with smaller rooms...and not as much storage space.
I have to choose a paint color for the bedroom -- sorry, I really don't want a blood red bedroom -- get the paint and slap it on the wall.
I need to find a contractor and get some estimates on the barn. I am thrilled that this property comes with a 2-story barn. I have lots of plans for this barn -- including the possibility of a gift shop/art gallery in a few years. For now, I'd just like to do a little renovation to make the first floor fit for my art studio.
I need to take care of a few things on the inspector's list -- like GFI switches and a couple of supports in the basement and couple of weak stair treds.

I have so much to do. Actually, WE have a lot to do. My partner is helping me with all of these tasks. Between the two of us, we need a scrimmage board with circles and arrows and lines to show us how to get from point A to point B. It's scrimmage time!

The best scrimmage is the one you watch from the bleachers. Any possibility you can do that? Personally I like blood red. All you need is some back lacquer furniture and a disco ball and then you have a theme room for guests. (did scamble help any?)
