Thoughts on Naruto Manga

great points leza ~~ that could be it, i didnt realize shisui had a nickname, that fact slipped by me. then that definelty would make sense.
i read a theory on narutofan.com that itachi did not actually massacre the village, but someone he knew did, and when saskue came home he used his sharingan to make saskue think he did, knowing that he had the ability to be the most powerful uchia ever. itachi wanted saskue to seeth for years with hatred to build up his bloodline and then help to take revenge.
so here could be another theory. if akatsuki is a thorn in orochimarus side, could it be that oro found out that aka wants saskue for his ultimate power and because possibly the surviving uchia's are now in aka? and oro want the beautiful boy saskue for his own body so that would foil oros plans.

I like Naruto also. I watch it with my son, rofl.
We went to Comic Con here in San Diego.
My son dressed as Sasuke.
He has hidden leaf headband's. The shoes, He's made shuriken's, you name it.
We just bought a bag like Gara's gourd too...

joyce that is so fun!! i didnt get to go to comic con this year, but we did hit up anime exp, and my daughter dressed up as one of the organization XIII memebers from kindgom hearts.
were gonna definetly hit comic con next year though, the timing was just bad for us. and wow did i miss it a lot.

ya, i really got sucked into naruto, im all caught up on the whole manga now and just waiting for fillers to be over on the japanese run shows.

hi how does everyone feel about the filler in the anime? personally i like it and am glad it fills in some of the gaps in the manga but i dont think that they will expalin how naruto gets his new power because they want the suprise effect but personally i like seeing him do the unthinkable. does anyone else dislike the way the older naruto is drawn? maybe it is just me but he lost some of his charisma when he grew up. he is the only reason i watch this show mainly because he reminds me of hikaru from hiakru no go. i didnt even like the show till he got the frog boss. i also think the manga is going a bit slow in the plot line department, it doesnt hold my attention like it did in the begining. but i am looking foward to seeing his fight with Akatsuki and sasuke. it seems to me they have been hinting at sakura starting to like naruto but i personally hope he ends up with hinata. she is so cool.

I'm not so sure about the akatsuki speculations . . . I'm more concerned with Naruto's slow development as a main character. I thought during his 2 yrs of training he'd LEARN but he's back and still using the same tricks in Shippuuden. Kinda dissappointing.
Has anyone see the trailer for the 4th movie? Now THAT's gonna be the best one in the movie line.

There have been some hints that the Akatsuki leader looks like the 4th Hokage, but I think that's Pain, the guy from the recent chapters.

I've never read Naruto but my friend got me one for christmas. She didn't know if I read it or not and assumed I had because I read a lot of mangas but I didn't but since she thought I did she got me the 32nd book.
