I ride the T every day to and from work. I am in the process of buying a home a bit farther out, so I'll soon be riding the commuter rail daily.
In the short time I've used the MBTA, I've found riders to be an interesting breed. We are PROUD to ride the rails! We love leaving the driving to someone else. We don't care if we have to stand...that's the charm of it all. I mean, who else can say they ride on the oldest subway system in the U.S. We can! And we're darn proud of it!
When you get home from your day of travels, kick back, relax, and tell us a tale of your day on the rails. I know some of you with longer commutes bring your laptops with you. Type to us as you ride. What's happening outside your window...or inside a few seats over? Did you find a new place (a store, a coffeeshop, a diner) to linger over before heading back home? Tell us all about it!
