Cheryl, you do not need that, it is too much of a condesceding spirit to let into your heart to stay. Please do not be co-depent to it. Let it go to sink to lower life form while you ascend. Come, go with us, we need you as equal.
Dan....this poem is referencing the way I have felt at different times in my life. In that sense it is autobiographical, though I am no longer in this place. This poem is also a reference to God, for I often feel this way with Him as well.....and consider that to be a healthy thing.
Douglas.....you are partly correct. This is autobiograpical, but only in the past tense. Although, as stated above, I do often feel this way with God.....and I feel, in that aspect....it it healthy.
I sense dread in that poem, but I really don't think that God thinks that anyone of us is "fallen." I think he just thinks we're brave for being here every day. :*)
Jessica..."Fallen" is how I feel at times in the presence of God......and only when I feel this way is He able to lift me back up. There are times I distance myself from Him out of my own weaknesses and failings, but He has never let go of me. He is always there....ready to pick me back up.
