Once again, I hear the sophistication of lyrics of Gershwin, Berlin and Cole Porter, though inflected of course through your contemporary sensibility, as in the final lines: " cannot stop my senses
from feeling what I knew
would be an affirmation
of your point of view
and I weaken my defenses
at the touch of you."
You definitely have real songwriting talent, no question about it, Cynth. Keep on keeping on.
