Red Lobster's Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Preheat oven to 450. Combine 2 cups buttermilk
baking mix, 2/3 cup milk, and 1/2 cup cheese.
Stir till soft dough forms. Drop dough on
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Combine 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/2 tsp. garlic
powder. Brush over warm biscuits before removing
from cookie sheet. Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.

I was amazed how easy they are to make. They taste just like Red Lobster's too.

I was actually a baker at Red Lobster years ago... when we'd run out of the predefined mix, we'd use Bisquick, just like Carolyn says. Tasty stuff.

I was a hostess at Red Lobster many, many moons ago. One of my very first jobs, when I was 16. Man, they pushed their staff hard.

Thank you for the recipe, what kind of cheese do you use??? I love Red Lobster but none close to use here.

I love Red Lobster too. It's my favorite place to eat. I have to drive about 100 miles to get there, so I only go about once a year. I use cheddar cheese in the biscuits, but you can use the kind you like in it.
