Hmmm, "fingers making their way".... beautiful halos, but I feel the sexual tension. The "We are friends" seems like a warning and a barrier.

"I brush floating hair
from your eyes
your cheek
tenderly
fingers making their way..."
He says, "Come to bed"
She says, "Only on a bed of grass"

Ah, Doug!
Tis the friendship dance.
Would be so easy to tumble down on the grass in that moment, but then the risk of spoiling such a great time with complication.
"We are friends" is a double here..... it is a joyous pronouncement and grateful state.... and at once a barrier. Albeit a floating barrier, one of bliss and electricity.
