The Defense Department, last week, released the obituaries of 17 military personnel killed in Iraq, ranging in age from 19 to 37, and one 39 year old soldier killed in Afghanistan.
Total U.S. deaths, as of Friday, August 4, were 2,585 in and around Iraq, and 263 in and around Afghanistan, according to the Pentagon.

That will not stop me from speaking out on the incredible blunder the invasion and occupation of Iraq has become. Putting US troops in a no-win situation is immoral. In no way should supporting Bush be confused with supporting the troops.
The real death toll among Iraqis is likely much higher than what the administration is estimating.
