this stupid little article took me over four hours to load. Why? Because every single time Gather Inc changes or runs a full page flash ad, it wipes out all the images that wrere uploaded and "saved". I loaded these images no less than four times.
it doesn't matter how many times I save them if the edit article is open and I am uploading images, they are lost. NICE efficient system to drive people mad.Every time the Gather Inc server times out, all the images are lost, even if you have labelled and saved them
and for all the beautiful photography and hard work, there is still an oversized button on the "MySpace" requesting me to donate money to Gather Inc
can anyone explain why I should domate money when alrady I donate time, expensive writing and photography to a site that does not pay me a penny?really angry.
for serious writers-- the money is supposed to flow their way--and they should get paid for good content, not be suffering nervous anxiety after 12 hours of almost nonstop effort to load two articles.
and if Gather wants good content, it ought to support good writing and beserious about paying for it.
other than that, people should stuff the pages aith anything they want and not be censored or flagged.

I love all but more the one where there is one black and the other one white. They seem to swim in different direction, but ...no racism in there !

i lost some of the images as a rresult of getting knocked off so many tims, and the order is totally screwed up, but I'll be damned if I try to list thim in their original order
there's no reason why anyone should submit any serious writng or good photography to this site. it's only a form of self-torture.
and really it is very expenseive not only pswychologically, but financially-- so really don't get that huge button telling me I should donate to them. they exist only because we fill up their pages with content
at the end of trying to load this, my hands are shaking and my heart is so stressed out
who can deal with it?
but am going mad-- and worse than that, it's obvious that my articles are getting stopped somewhere.
something wrong over there-- good work deserves recognition and reward
not just one sentence articles and mutual admiration clubs that can twaddle on about anything and everything, but actually produce little of any lasting content or value.
Your message, on the other hand, echos round the gather world. Grateful for your persistence, but mostly grateful for your magnificent eye.
