I'm so excited Aileen kicked off her new "California Dreaming" group! I thought I'd repost a table of contents for my "Weekend in San Francisco" series that began on Gather mid-March of this year since Aileen's group icon is my beloved California Highway 1. Links are provided below so you can easily find previous postings of the series. If you've run into Big Molly and Sage at the OHC, this series will give you some insight into some of their Sixties' escapades.
Cheers,

Synopsis:
I thought it might be cool to tell some tall tales from my experiences growing up in the San Fernando Valley in the 1960s at the so-called dawning of the Age of Aquarius. The "Weekend in San Francisco" series is a compilation of these tales for the years 1965 and 1966. For my younger audience, this is the Rock N' Roll Pleistocene Epoch when small rock bands first roamed the earth.
Characters:
Narrator (aka Shortcut) - San Fernando Valley gearhead
Bill (aka Willy) - San Fernando Valley surfer
Victoria (of Encino) - San Fernando Valley early prototype of 1980s "Valley Girl"
Big Molly - Big Sur Mountain Mama
Sage - Adventurous hitchhiker from Austin, Texas
Tork - Irritating street theater, mime-type from that era
Heavy Duty Dave - Limekiln Creek hippie commune leader
Elko Mono - Big Molly's big sister

I will have pictures tomorrow!
Thank you! I haven't roared around on surface streets in the valley for so long I'm sure I'd get lost. One thing I've noticed from the freeways is that all those little trees in folk's yards when we were growing up are all now big trees! Kinda cool.
Can't wait to see the film at Eleven!

Great idea to have a synopsis of all your fabulous tales, Colonel. You know how I've enjoyed them. !!!
Thank you! I thought a TOC might be helpful for those that might have missed the early stuff.
