All this love inside I can't hide.Should I put it in a box?Or bury it deep inside my heart?My mind says he's no good let him go.My heart still longs for him and misses him.I have asked God to help me to stop thinking about him.I guess your past can not by blocked from past pain and memories.

You are right.I am trying to date others but there are still times I think of him .It seems like writing my feelings out helps me sometimes.

Hey Shaunee, i cant believe it, i went throught the same situation, if you go through my articles, you can know about it.

As you said, it is really difficult to forget someone you love. Although, you try hard to let him go away from your heart it gets impossible to just forget about him. But thats life, you have to live with it, you have to move along with it.

Keep writing until you get it all out. Suppressing it will drive you back to him, and I can tell you from experience that if you get past a certain point (in the wrong direction) it'll be too late. You should keep writing him out of yourself if that's what it takes. Good luck.

I appricate the comments.It will take awhile I mean we just divorced the first part of this year.I would never ever go back to him.I mean he cheated on me twice and lied and theated me. He never hurt me physiclly but mentally he did.At the same time I do pray to find someone new or for God to direct me for a better path then worring about him.

How I relate to this! Writing has helped. Read my poem "hypothesis" on my gather page. Somehow wring all about it kind of soothed me.

I think writing helps me to get issues off of my mind.I mean my marriage to my ex husband is over .I don't want him back he is a lyer and a cheater.But writing it out just seemed like it soothes my mind.

Past memories and impressions will always be a part of our present. Best not to block them out, especially in matters of love, but consider them in perspective to where you are now as well as your future plans, goals, and aspirations.

That's for sure Leah belive me. Looking back at what made me write this. After the way my ex husband treated me . After I divorced him a little sfter I felt better he left me for someone else. A part of me will always miss him but at the same time the other part could care less now.

I agree Sandra . He cheated on me more then once he evern left me 2 weeks before Christmas in 2004. That was almost 4 years ago. I know if we had worked things out it would have happened again.
