Awhile back I stumbled upon an article regarding unsolicited prayer requests sent to Gather mailboxes. This article tugged at my heart. I wondered is there was such a place/group on Gather for like minded Christians? After searching I discovered there was not, so with the Holy Spirit's urging and prayer, Prayer and Praise was born,
Dear Father God,
We pray this Gather group will be a place for Christian prayer, praise, testimonies, reflection, essays, poetry and love. We build it to glorify You! We praise Your Holy Name, we lift You up above all other Gods. In Your Son's Name, Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen

6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
