Because of my past readings, my dear friend, I'm more aware of my surroundings and our beautiful nature. This is true and so beautifully written...

It is my goal (most days! LOL) to be as kind and thoughtful as I can be. And Laurie, you are SO right.

It is so much easier to be kind than to spend the time thinking about how to be mean to someone. Some people are just mean by nature though. I will NEVER understand that.

Kindness requires us to put the welfare of someone else before our own, at least for a limited period of time. That's hard for some people who believe they are the most important people in the world.

Marinela,.. I SO love this posting. I can't think of anything better to add. Kindness is the King among Kings in human relations, and would that we all practice it until we get it right! Plus, Wordsworth is near to the top of my list of poets!!!

kindness and unconditional love is really what would make the world go round. Wonder if we will ever reach that state of evolved thinking as members of the planet earth.

When I meet a new person, the very first attribute that my mind is searching for is how kind and compassionate the person is!
I am not attracted to the people who don't have kindness.

Very nice. I would also like to add that for those folks that find it difficult to accept another person's act of kindness, think of the pleasure and good that the person is getting out of giving you the gift of his/her self. Accept it graciously and you both are blessed.

It is a good reminder. It is one which I am trying to teach to my children that they should be kind.

Absolutely. I was amazed to find that doing something good for somebody gives a sort of satisfaction. A selfless deed is worth doing a job that earns you a certain amount of bucks.

No wonder I love William Wordsworth so. I don't remember this particular belief of his, and may have missed it altogether, but think it must be so. Being kind does feel good. And while I have the time this morning I am going around to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Let me share some of this joy with you today.
