I love the use of imagery in this. Different ways that silence can affect us. I particularly like the "pregnant with diffuse emotions."

i like the chinks that get cemented and that there is a lot to read between the lines like in every love relationship!

I couldn't resist the title. Wow! This is transcendent. I especially like the last two lines: "silence when abandoned metamorphoses
like a timeless beast, like a moon besieged." This is about words, but I have no words. Thanks.
