How deep is the water here? Our scant plumb line is insufficient to give the answer. Here's hoping wit, patience and a well brimming with humility helps.

Such clarity in an image of grief. The title is a part of the poem, like the pumps required to start my Briggs and Stratton lawnmower, a Haiku with an arrhythmic pounding piston gulping breaths of effort to mow through this ordeal of death - an immeasurable sorrow and overwhelming process of grief.

A poweful and intimate expression. Beautifully written.
