An all-too-common practice among terrorists.
The IDF has found that Hizbullah is preventing civilians from leaving villages in southern Lebanon. Roadblocks have been set up outside some of the villages to prevent residents from leaving, while in other villages Hizbullah is preventing UN representatives from entering, who are trying to help residents leave. In two villages, exchanges of fire between residents and Hizbullah have broken out.
What's sad is that by the end of hostilities Israel will no doubt be criticized for the number of Lebanese citizens killed during the fighting while Hezbollah will largely escape criticism despite the fact that their actions both invited the fighting and set these citizens up to be killed.

i actually did not know how bad it was, i thought building up their ammunition within residential areas was bad enough. An Israeli officer had said on the news that they are worse then the infamous Ginges Chan who used to use captured enemie soldiers as shields, they use their own people as shields like that...
i suppose that every terrritory the Israeli army had left including Lebanon , the terrorists moved in to.These are not "freedom fighters" or any other terror group that actually has any goals for a state, nor were they denied a state, these are people that have destruction on their agenda, whether anyone thinks they should be handled with kid gloves and asked kindley to stop sending missiles, i don't quite think that would work..so if it appears very violent , it is because it is a bit difficult to removed armed terrorists from among the population..
The PLO used to use ambulances to move equipment and men in a battle, so that if Israel fired on them, the press would have a damaged ambulance as an example of Israeli overkill.
The civilian death toll is undoubtedly filled with Hezbollah too. How can you tell the difference in a hospital or morgue? They don't care how many die, it adds to their propaganda.
So, in other words, they're heavily outnumbered and outgunned, and they're really defending themselves and their causes with the only effective means that they have at their disposal. That's awful. They should learn to fight fairly...like lobbing artillery from 80 miles away or dropping bombs from the air. That would be MUCH more civilized.
