breaking: Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock to Tie the Knot

I' ve let my celebrity reporting slip a bit of late, but I couldn't let this urgent news go untrumpeted.

Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock will wed (Link to Us Weekly website story).

I wonder how Tommy Lee feels about this?  I saw him on Jimmy Kimmel just a couple of weeks ago and he hinted the he and Pamela might remarry.

Yes. I'm finally getting remarried…it's been a whirlwind…spontaneous but well thought through. Feels like I've been stuck in a time warp. Not able to let go of MY family picture…it's been sad and lonely and frustrating….I've raised my kids alone in hope of a miracle. Well my miracle came and went. And came back and came back because he knew that I'd wake up one day and realize that I was waiting for nothing. I'm moving on…I feel like I'm finally free….I'm in love. I'm happy….I see the light…sounds dramatic but it's true…..I know some women can relate to this….My children are getting older. They know the truth and they are strong, smart kids. They love their Dad. They love their new Step Dad who they've known for years…time will pass. Wounds will heal. Some people may never grow up. Actions speak louder than words….watch!

Well, I'm just as excited as I can possibly be. Pam and The Kid make a great couple.

I'm sure they'll end up getting divorced but I honestly think, all sarcasm aside, that these two could be happy together. Despite their public personnas, neither of them is stupid and I bet they have a lot of fun together. Nothing wrong with that.

Time to analyze Pamela's quote. Some background may be necessary. She was married to Tommy Lee and has two kids with him. They've been divorced for several years.

She dated Kid Rock in 2002 and they got engaged but later broke it off.

So . . . here's the quote:

"Well my miracle came and went. And came back and came back because he knew that I'd wake up one day and realize that I was waiting for nothing."

Question: Is she talking about Tommy or Kid Rock?

I think it must be Kid Rock because she refers to him as "my miracle" which presumably is how you would refer to someone you had just decided to marry. Therefore, she is saying that Kid Rock came back and convinced her that she was waiting around for Tommy Lee and that Tommy Lee is "nothing."

I have nothing against either one of these two and think they will have fun together and are a good match...it's just the environment of that world.

And while these two are getting together, I heard Carmen and Dave are splitting. Hannah, if you go to see Rockstar Supernova you can have your choice between two bad boys, Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro :).

Mandi, I can see you didn't even read the in depth reporting I provided (including analysis in the comments). The DID break up but now they are blissfully back together because Kid convinced Pam she was waiting for Nothing.

OK, I'll admit it. I am a huge Kid Rock fan. I know it isn't consistent with my "sensitive man" image. But the guy is a hard rocking, southern rock loving, semi-rapper with a real bad attitude. Sure, some of his lyrics are offensive, but he's trailer trash, what do you expect.

OK, the point is since I'm a fan I can shed a little light on this matter. He and Pamela WERE together before. I'm not sure if they were married, but I am pretty sure they were. Then she went back to Tommy. Then for a while they were "sharing her" (their words). So I am assuming that Jake pulled this off of a current blog. Last I heard (a couple of months ago) she was back with Tommy. Man this chick can rome.

All I know is this is some good rock and roll in the making. Last time she split with Bob (Kid Rock) he wrote some great songs about pain. He is setting himself up for another round. Like Jayne said WOW

Just kidding. People love a story about a fat girl turned not-so-fat, what can I say?

As for Kid Rock, Rich, I'm with you. I've seen him in concert three times. Just killer. I would take him OR Tommy Lee or him AND Tommy Lee, or him AND Tommy Lee AND a third player to be named at a later date. That is just how big a skank I am.

Actually, did you see that show about Tommy Lee going to college? I always thought the guy was a pinhead, but there was definitely something endearing about him. My favorite part was when he couldn't pass the audition as a drummer in the college marching band! Seriously! But he studied really hard and they let him in.

But even though Tommy is well, well, well endowed, I think Pam made the right choice. The Kid, for all his bravado, is total mush inside.

hannah - i think that the spray-on vinyl is at the back aisle of the blueberry wine shop. i bet you can get that by the case, too. ;)
