Good one, Jim. This says a lot to me in regard to alot of things....(Of course, I tend to look for deep meanings where there may not even be any..lol). I see this as a perfect description of the changes we must face in life each day. In the case of a writer, we do indeed mark up and defile a perfectly good piece of paper........but in the end there is a beautiful result.
