I/Thou
What is there in a star gazing back at me?
And is there a flower that can smell me too?
Does the road hear my feet shuffling along the side?
Yes, if God is everything.
Does the tree feel the brush of my hand on its trunk?
After crumpling under my feet, does the grass spring back with good cheer.
Does the wind love whistling through my hair?
Yes, for God is everywhere.
Can the rain feel its fall on our faces?
Do the waves love the sand they surge over?
Are the mountains in awe of us?
Of course , because God is God.

thank you!
You said what I've told some of my church-going friends — that I've probably given more thought and praise to God and Her creation, on my knees, gardening and tending to the beauties around me than some of them praying in church all day (after which they go back home, hating everything and everyone)
Well done, Carol!
Simply wondrous.
"Of course , if God is God."
In my mind I'd make only a 'slight change':
"Of course, because God is God"

Richard--I will mull that over the way you said it and see if that's how I meant it.
I agree, God is everywhere, infact, he is nowhere but in our own being. It is beautiful.
God bless.
