My initial vision was the 3 fold path inspired by the 3 main characters in the Garden tale, Eve, Adam and Lilith. Each, being Taoist, has a unity of differing traits.
Adam – the 2 valued scientist
Eve – multi valued mystic
Lilith – the Magician
Eve is centered on acknowledging the Holon; and her role to play as part of the holarchy of life. Lilith is centered on herself – freedom of the individual – she is also split off into a hierarchal system. Lilith is the twin of Eve, she is the active, while Eve is the receptive. Adam is fixated in figuring things out – but separates them all into static parts. Eve and Lilith figure things out but recognize them as dynamic.
Thus our challenge in life is to incorporate all these perspectives into a balance unity, each serve a part in the grand scheme of things. Alone they will create disharmony – together they lead to harmony.
Hopefully you have read my essay/tale of the garden – it will give you a glimpse into my view of the story. How it is a tale of 'the parent' – the divine, trying to raise Her children to become adults – and how the divine fails. All of them, God/Divine, Lilith, Eve, and Adam are all inexperienced in this tale – just starting out in their respective roles, and thus messing up. The Parent creating this elaborate setting as a challenge and not having the patience to wait for results and lacking the faith to wait – hence the serpent is placed into the Garden. The responses of Lilith, Eve and Adam, all out of the experiences of being inexperienced youths – Lilith not wanting to work things out – just gets up and leaves. Eve panics with self-doubt when confronted by her divine parent. Adam because he just goes along for the ride and not thinking that he should make up his own mind, is the follower and therefore doesn't take responsibility for his actions.
That's enough for now…comments?

Let me clarify these following points:
taoistic values:please define!
lillith-eve:one person or twins meaning two beings?
you mean first there were two women or one women with two aspects?
the snake:you mean he is only coming to play at the end and is not part of the original drama?
i may have skipped some stages as this the first article of yours i am reading. i definitely would like to learn more-am i being lillith?
i have written a short article:"Adam's rib?"
i think each article that is written should clarify the values, the ideas given to a reader that encounters this for the first time.
God is in a way a parent that does not give enough freedom to explore and gives too many limitations..god i guess is learning through out the book and after wards too..a learning process..though i am sure religious people would be very angered by treating god as something that has a process and not perfection..
Do tell me if i had picked up some of what you wanted to say..
theology for me is like sliced meat, i can not imagine eating it without bread,i need context, relevance ..some more elaboration.
The garden of Edan i like is the one Erich Fromme explores in one of his books, is it "art of loving" about the revelation of being naked, that is an exemple of a context, not just ideas but the story as it is used to explain relationships between men and women is one exemple..
can not figure everyone out in this story at the same time and in such a short space, each character deserves a whole article in my humble opinion!
peace!

Raven: Yin/Yang a unity that manifests as a complentary duality. I read over and over Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching, and Holmes Welch's Taoism: The parting of the way – from their get my Taoism.
lillith-eve:one person or twins meaning two beings?
you mean first there were two women or one women with two aspects?
Raven: interesting thoughts…initially considered them two beings, philosophically twins. Ultimately all of them, Adam, Eve and Lilith are archetypes for a unified personality.
the snake:you mean he is only coming to play at the end and is not part of the original drama?
Raven: The chronology of events:
1. Garden site created
2. Adam and Lilith created
3. God tells Adam and Lilith Her/His plans for the them – creating humanity.
4. Lilith considers this – decides not to be the mother of humanity and checks out the Tree of Life & Knowledge and leaves.
5. Eve is born.
6. Adam fills her in on what she missed.
7. They spend some time in the Garden, checking things out.
8. God gets impatient with them, wants them to decide to eat the fruit or not.
9. God adds the serpent – a masculine biped with no mate, to stir things up.

Raven: yes, you got the idea…
theology for me is like sliced meat, i can not imagine eating it without bread,i need context, relevance ..some more elaboration.
Raven: yes, there is more – check out my other essays – one on the way of gan eden, one on the garden tale, the other on my idea of Gnosticism.

Raven: read Erich Fromm – get thinker. Read the Art of Loving, You Shall be as Gods: A radical interpretation of the Old Testament and its tradition, and The Revolution of Hope.
Raven: more to come!...stay tuned! Keep reading
very interested in the archtypes, jung ..will explore these paths!
Keep on writing !
