I usually do not buy "The Ladie's home journal" but prefer the cheaper British women magazines with lots of recipies and British slang i love to learn, but seeing her photo with her 2 beautiful teenager daughters, i just had to buy July's issue.
I am talking about Fergie, the bubbly red headed former wife of the very handsome prince of England, Andrew.
I had expected some interesting insights because afer all don't we have issues in common?
having dyed my hair to crimson red last fall it is now after a few more coloring jobs from a box looking more and more Fergieish and after all , did i not want to be a red head with a bubbly personality and not giving a toss attitude?
We both have been separated from our handsome husbands, mine a personal prince at the royal castle of my mother in law who does conduct herself in queen like fashion never seen without silk stockings even on a hot hot day..
She is described as a single working mom raising her children,
well, i am not working yet but might and am certainly raising my children , so i was very interested to find out some insights from the Dutchess.
"We have never really fallen out of love", so the Dutchess, "the reason for the divorce were circumstances..i used to see him all of 40 days in 3 years..he is a very busy man, i see more of him now.."..ah?! i am confused..is this denial or what ?!
Fergie dear, if you are reading this, please do explain how can anyone actually divorce in order to see the husband more ? How does divorce accomplish that task?
I see a photo of the lovely red haired fergie celebrating her 40th birthday along side the husband she divorced, she looks (as the British say..) Smashing in her gold suit and gold shoes ,very spiky heels, radiating!
Is this where i had gone wrong girls, do explain , is divorce a way to a man's heart and time?
Should i try to make a date with my husband in separation?
Then again dates were never a problem,we always got along great going to the cinema, he even bought me popcorn (a large portion) it is living together and raising children that proved us incapable of being a couple..
Fergie's busy life on the weekend involves watching DVD's , again a similarity though lately my weekends included washing dishes, the floor and clothes..
The princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, lovely girls that look a lot like their handsome father with their mother's lovely locks a shade of darker red, apparently get up at 12:00 on weekends ( i wish! by 12:00 my day is at full speed ahead) , unlike their male cousins ,Diana's boys, that do combat training, venture to Africa and have their photos taken with orphons , these girls are real princesses..though they have real life problems mom proudly reveals to make other people, like the readers of the magazine, regualr folks , feel a whole lot better,
One princess suffers from anorexia, and the other from dyslexia, how appropriate and ryhming too..knowing that the princesses have these problems should make the regular people feel good, they are not alone in their suffering.
Fergie denies dating , men are too scared of her, and perhaps i am guessing from reading between the lines, dating her ex. might be a reason to keep other men away..
Somehow i expected a deeper message besides : we also have problems like other people though we don't have to worry about the bills.
Take courage girls-Fergie still battles to keep her weight down even though she is the spokesperson for weight watchers!
The girls munching on chocolates ;as it is mentioned, may not be the best promotion for her group though i feel good, here is something i also do ..a bag of fruit would have made me feel envious, so the princesses too have a battle with a sweet tooth.
The last paragraph leaves the dutchess of York speculating a possiblity of dating in the future..
so Prince Andrew is free at last, do you think i have a chance?
