Search own

Answers real

Forgiveness heals

Clarity seeks

Thank you ladies... I would have to point at myself for being angry too. I personally wanted to reflect on my own heart. Rightous anger ... is it right? I can't change anyone elses view just state how I see anger in myself and others. We are blind unless we search for a better answer. That is why there is so little peace in the world. It starts with me.

A strong statement about the sequence of emotional based reasoning an angry row takes, and its consequences on all parties. I really like the structure you found for the resolution at the end, Pam.

Thank you John, I wrote this because I realized I needed to look at myself ... but also I wanted eveyone to look at themselves. ... Which just goes to show my own pride and vanity. So it made even more sense to write it.

It happens in big and small situations ... It can be an argument between friends or a war between countries. Its all the same. "don't you dare do that." behavior and then revenge.... Who are we to be this way? Am I any different? No. sadly I am not. I want to be different though.

Excellent thoughts and suggestions presented in a most artful way Pam. Everyone forgets to "count to ten" on occassion. We shouldn't find fault with anyone who does, especially if they genuinely regret their actions.

There's nothing more powerful than forgiveness.

My favorite part in this is "Mirrors Reflect Blind Subjects" because in anger we can't see our own part. I love mood writing. I was really feeling these words when I wrote them. thank you for your wonderful comments everyone.

We don't want war but do we start our own wars?... or... Do we take sides and fuel the war? It is as simple as that. Then we wonder how we got here to this point where we can't speak or back down.

Words fail

Souls impaled

Whether we are right or wrong

Rights cost

Respect lost

So we search ourselves not knowing what we will find (right or fault)
Steps unknown

Search own

Forgive ourselves and others...

Answers real

Forgiveness heals

Find Clarity in your heart for what you believe in.

It's a powerful piece, Pam, and so very true in every respect. If only people would get up from the computer, take a walk, have a cup of tea, watch cartoons, and THEN return to the keyboard...perhaps they wouldn't write without due consideration of their words, and without adding fuel to the fire.

It's not the anger that is so terrible; it's what we do with it. "Clarity seeks...Hearts peace" says it all to me. If we can understand our anger and find a good place to put it (making positive changes, having a health conversation with that person who makes us angry, etc.) anger can be growth. It is when we suppress it, harm others, act without consideration that anger is so harmful. Thanks for making us think, Pam.

Powerful and poignant poem Pam!

We are only human and thus, the need to express emotion is only natural. Yet, I love how you have found a way to do so without pointing fingers or making anyone feel bad ... just by making us all think.

Thank you for demonstrating grace under pressure once again. Maybe it's your faith and the fact that you strive to be a good Christian that has tempered your soul -- but to me you are just a true and classy lady!
