Rejected and Dejected?

Dear Reader,

Recently many members of the Gather Community received a letter from a gentleman seeking comfort.  If you were not among those selected to receive the good man's letter, this is what you missed:

"I am Dr M M Oza M 55 orthopedic surgeon from Gujarat state of India I am average looking and built I am 5' & 8" and weigh 82 Kg I am a non smoker and non drinker I would not mind my woman to be drinker but prefer not to be a smoker. I am a strict Vegetarian. I am not eating Egg Fish meat garlic onion green chillies etc I would prefer my woman to be a STRICT VEGETARIAN like me THis has a Strong Scientific reason. I am honest sincere loving caring passionate compassionate I like travelling to places of natural beauty and lonely ness. I like reading spiritual books and self improvement books I like listening to Indian classical music. I like romance I am looking for friendship and more and intimate encounter. I am looking for long or short term relations but looking for unconditional real love. Its a feeling which happens Cannot be done. Its a communication between two beings. Love is all about giving. Love is about respect and caress. Love is about concern and trust. It is a great feeling which is the essence of life. Yes, I know how you must feel, because I was also overlooked.  You are encouraged to vent your true feelings in a letter to Dr. Oza.  Let him know what he is missing.  Submit your letters to this site, and as a supportive community, we will stand together.  We will reclaim our self-esteem, and we will earn points.  All letters should be published to http://eshewedbyoza.gather.com .

I am surprised that he did not say that he just inherited money and wanted you to wire it into your bank account, and then you could collect a 10% fee. Or maybe he is not a doctor, but a customer service or tech agent in Mumbai, India. Hello, Ms. Sandy.......
All I have to say is, if he is writing letters to people he does not know, looking for true love, then he is a doctor who is not very bright.
