Oh, I am an article slipping into the faint obscurity of Gather. It´s too unfortunate that my bane is not actually my poor content, but the lack of readership I am recieving in my first five minutes of life.
My paper longs to be read and read till the edges are fraid or the computer has recieved indellible spots burned into it´s screen due to the brightness of my lettering. Maybe I lose because I have poor spelling, bain or bane, "what does it matter?" I tell myself. For as soon as the submit button is pushed, I will slide shoddily down a technological gateway that has too many doors and too many halls.
I suppose for a while, I will cover some screen, but only for a fleeting instant; an ephemereal glance at my preverbial 15 minutes of fame. Unfortunetly, the other 10 and a half will be given in milliseconds to me by stumbling searchers on google or yahoo.
I dream of a better day, a better writer, and a better time to post this article. As it is, I´m too late, or maybe too early. Either way, farewell Gather and farewell fame.
