I've been the undoing of more than one piano in my day. My parents were all keyed up and thought my performance of note, but it was flat, trust me (I'm pretty sharp when it comes to picking out self-weaknesses).

I have plaid the guitar for years - every note I play is still the wrong one - but it is a blast. I guess that is the difference between a skill and a hoby.
