Linking Music To Gather

Here is a piece of music I wrote entitled Rainbow For Gus and Clare. You'll find it on Youtube, but here  is the link. Some information about it:

  •  

  • I wrote the piece on Sibelius music program. The voices you hear are computer generated flute, violin, and piano.
  • I transferred it into "Windows Moviemaker"
  • I then put in the pictures (the children are two of my grandchildren. My inspiration was the rainbow picture with the children dancing under it, sent to me by my daughter.)
  • After that, I just transferred into Youtube files. These are free video viewing files for anyone who wants to put videos in or view other people's files

If you have any questions on how to do it, please email me. If you want to use the music for something yourself, also email me and I will sent you a printed copy! (SASE) Check the site again in a few days. I just wrote a polka for a friend's wedding and a waltz for another friend's wedding, and plan on putting them on Youtube also.

This is awesome Carol! And I love the picture with the rainbow. As I told you in my message, your music is beautiful and compliments the slide show so well. And those kids are just gorgeous! Some of their expressions in the photos are priceless!

watched it and I think it will thrill the kids more. My favourite part is the mother and her baby holding a stick in it's hand.

Thanks, all. Yes, Carl, I should have increased the time on the photos. You can stop the music though, but it cuts the flow. Did anyone have trouble with it stopping because it was too big?

You are so creative - not only that but you actually 'get it done'. That in itself is an achievement. It doesn't hurt that your music is very, very good.
