A collection of not entirely disjointed thoughts, in regards to being me today.

1) Shopping for clothes on the first day of one's period is a wholly depressing experience.

2) Question for whatever miscellaneous deities there be: is there a purpose to owning an umbrella in the Boston area? Does it really serve us to spend time wrestling with this unweildy thing, holding it against the wind and fixing it every one of the fifteen times it will blow open (and it WILL) and eventually start ripping, even though we end up soaked anyway?

3) A clean refrigerator, clean pajamas and puffed cheese snacks are really the best things in life on a day like today. And hot chocolate. Definitely hot chocolate.

4) 3-day sales at Bath and Body Works ROCK.

5) I always love getting my work back from the printer. It gives me such pride to see something I've worked hard to design come to life.

6) Almost in reference to #4, my favorite work environments are those in which there is a good balance between individual autonomy and collaboration.

7) I do my best work when I'm trusted to do so, and when I'm given clear direction and good constructive feedback on my work.

8) I'm ready for the rain to stop.

9) In reference to #7, I hope my plants are all right (they were flooded when I got home).

10) Tonight, I need to spend some time away from the computer.
