What I now say is true
We live our seperate lives
And yet I realize
Even though I bask within your sun
There is no hope we can connect as one
Until we chance to meet

But I have no way to know our love is true

My heart is all past tense
Heartbreak has been immense
I cannot help but worry
That love will only hurry
And sabotage our chance of harmony
I don't know if I will ever be free
Until we chance to meet

But I have no way to know our love is true

The stars all point to evidence of love
That may or may not truely be enough
I yearn for some sincere
Way I can get you near
And so I pray alone to God above
And in my anxious dreams
Your love my heart redeems
But when I wake alone
My bed's a polar zone
That longs for your sweet and warm embrace
and hope that one day I will see your face
