I have received a number of messages from Gatherers wondering how best to get published and find agents and have attempted to answer each request as thoroughly as possible.
Today I received my free monthly newsletter from Publishers Weekly and noted with delight that it is about those very questions. "How Do I Publish My Book ."
I suggest that all interested and as yet unpublished Gather hopefuls connect with this wonderful resource which I have mentioned before in one of my posts, along with the superb journalist's resource, Poynter online .
Good luck in your writing. Forgive the brevity of this latest post but I am drowning in book publicity activities for The Scent of God (which, by the way just received a great review from the Washington Post ) and I'd much prefer to spend my spare moments reading your posts than mine.
Peace to you all!

Congratulations on the great review! I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your book! I really wanted to read it while in Alaska, but I started it on the plane ride. I could not put it down; I laughed, I cried and I finished the whole thing before we made it to Seattle. Truly a fabulous book and beautifully written. I will definitely be reading it again!
Short, but sweet. Thanks
Chiming in with the others; your book deserves the high praise it's getting in the Post and via word of mouth. I've lent out my copy of "The Scent of God" to a friend and plan to donate it to our local library so that others here can read it, as well. Thanks for keeping us updated during this hectic time. Best to you!
Your encouragement to other authors is admirable. Thank you.
Thanks for the resources. I really appreciate it!
