I have never been much for superstition, but today when I signed in I noticed I have 666 connections. I then looked down at my digital camera and saw 666 on the digital display. My daughter then reminded me that the new "Omen" movie comes out today, June 6, 2006. To top it all off one of my credit cards has a balance of $666.06. I am not kidding.
I figure either I should stay home today or go buy a lotto ticket.

The Omen movie launch date was not a coincidence. It was done intentionally.
And...what the heck!...what's a lottery ticket going to cost you anyway? Somebody has to win that fortune.

Bill, I knew it was on purpose, just forgot about the movie until my daughter mentioned it while I was seeing "signs"
Go buy the lottery ticket
Love ya

Disappointing really.

You are now entering the Twilight Zone! Or was that the Outer Limits? Pretty freaky Mandi! I think we will all get through this day just fine, the world will be intact and some of us might even get lucky! ( ;
Do you really have 666 connections? Why? You can't begin to read what's posted by so many.
every time I get an invite to connect I accept.. i don;t want to hurt anyones feelings... also every time I see a new face I want to check them out so I connect.. 75% don't publish anything so there is nothing to read...
I try to keep up with the regualrs around here, but it can be hard.. I am goping to cut down some connections, but it is a pain when gather is so slow...
also, the whole passage was about the fall of the roman empire - so maybe it actually is relevant to today in some ways.

Aw heck, most of these have already passed. Safely.
thanks all ;-)
You are as consumed about numbers as I! LOL! Now, go relax, grab a cold one and try not to think about Gregory Peck and kids named Damon! ;)~
............buy the ticket...hit the lotto.....send me a few bucks......
Thanks all!
Thanks all ;-)
I'm really not into the Apocolypse/Revelations thing. John supposedly wrote this when he was a very old man. He'd spent a very long time in jail in solitary confinement and was over 100 years old.(according to legend.)That he was having visions, I don't doubt. What I do doubt is that he was coherent enough to really interpret them, or that they weren't the fevered dreams of a semi-mad man.
Superstition is not entirely folly, in my opinion, but some of it is just not worth considering, in my opinion. We had a very nice day, and something happened in the family that was very positive, that I wish I could share. Maybe later.
Snarky Advisor... I will take that as a compliment ;-)
