Love has long been a popular theme in rock music. However, what you probably don't realize is that some of them are just plain stupid! Go here for a very funny and entertaining take on this subject:

Music seems to hide too much.
I agree that Stand By Your Man is one of the worst, but it ain't rock. (I can add a couple of more really bad country love songs. Honey by Bobby Goldsboro, Paper Roses by Marie Osmond.)
I like Love Hurts. It's a classic. Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad is one of those songs that was so overplayed that I hope I never hear it again as long as I live. I have to add "You Light Up My Life"...for a variety of reasons..including that I hear it on the music system where I work twice a day.
TI: You're probably better off! lol
Becky: Oh, I cannot stand Honey or Paper Roses.
please not "Muskrat love", i love that song by the captain and tanille...
it was in the 70's
i would say my choice for worst love song is definitly:
PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE ARE THE LUCKIEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD
what a lie!
