"Hi", Raksha called out.
He looked around and said, "Oh, Hello. Glad to see you here."
Just a little above average height, dark spiky hair, black eyes, fair skin, lanky frame, he merged into the crowd. Dressed in a tee and blue jeans, sports shoes, he looked like just another regular guy. Not someone worth a second look.
It was freshman party. He was feeling lost. But he was happy to see Raksha. One familier face. He knew all his classmates will be there but he was not very popular.
For one thing he had come to Delhi from Bangalore for his undergraduate studies. So was kind of outsider. He saw few of his classmates arrive.
"Wanna dance?" He asked her before anyone else could do so.
"Sure," she answered without much enthusiasm. She had come to him because he was the only familier person she could see around.
So there they were in the dance floor. He started out hesistantly but the music caught up with him as always. And there he was dancing with abandon, his body movements in complete syncho with the music. And how he danced!
Everyone else stopped their movements and stared at him in amazement.
"Hey Adi, you dance so well."
He just smiled and kept dancing. After that movement, he never lacked partners.
And after that day, he was never seen without friends.
He is still that way. Aditya has this effect on people. He is the MOST popular student in his class and his department.
My seventeen year old nephew.
