What do we strive for in life?

Is it the most obvious, happiness?

Or, the ever impressive, great looks?

Can you be driven by greed?

Does the thought of power will you to go a step farther?

And once we get to where we are going,

what then? Do we stop and embellish

at what we have accomplished?

Stand alone and gaze upon yourself in a mirror alone?

Or even sit with your money and look at all the buttons

you control in life ?

We must all remember one important fact of life

when thinking of what we want out of it. Who will be there when

the money runs out? Who will comfort you when your looks melt

away? Does your stocks and bonds wish you happy birthday

when no one else remembered? And can you hold your position

of power forever?

Love! Share! Be kind to the little old lady who is slow

bagging your odds and inns at the corner store. She is doing good for her age

What will you be doing at the age of 60?

When the little one cries out for no apparent reason, ask him/her

why they do so before assume they are just being foolish and scorn them.

They run to us for shelter from the world, lets not turn them away.

And the next time your mom or dad or even your grandparents

embarrasses you with an old memory of you when you were a child to your

boyfriend or girlfriend, Let them have it without an argument.

Remember YOU are the root of that happy memory for them to have.

Let's not forget who we are and who made us who we are
